Project Overview

Nirwana Residence is a minimalist private home situated in Bali, Indonesia, designed around the principles of geometric clarity and climatic sensitivity. The architecture is defined by clean angular volumes, warm rendered facades, and a deliberate restraint in form — allowing light, shadow, and sky to become active elements of the spatial experience. The project responds to its tropical context through passive ventilation strategies and shaded outdoor living zones integrated throughout the design.

Scope Of Work

The scope encompassed full architectural design and site supervision, covering structural form, envelope performance, interior spatial planning, and outdoor living area design.

  • Architectural concept and geometric form development
  • Passive ventilation and climate-responsive design
  • Exterior render finish and material specification
  • Interior spatial planning and light optimization
  • Outdoor living and landscape integration

Vision

The vision was to design a home that achieves tranquility through reduction — where every element serves a purpose and nothing competes for attention. The sharp roofline angles and warm earth tones were chosen to create a residence that feels grounded in its landscape while projecting a quiet architectural confidence.

Result

The completed residence has been praised for its strong formal identity and the quality of its interior light conditions throughout the day. The client noted that the home exceeds expectations in both comfort and atmosphere, and the project has attracted significant interest from the regional design community as an example of climate-conscious minimalist architecture.
